Arrow Electronics is recognized by Equinix with the ‘Distributor of the Year 2025’ award for the EMEA region, a distinction that highlights its contribution to developing innovative digital infrastructures and programs aimed at driving secure growth for customers, enhancing global interconnection, and supporting their digital transformation processes.
The company receives this recognition for the second consecutive year, further consolidating its partnership with Equinix in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Both companies have been working together since 2024, when they signed a distribution agreement for the EMEA region with the goal of enabling channel partners to incorporate Equinix’s services into integrated solutions related to network optimization, hybrid multicloud environments, and application performance enhancement.
Through this alliance, Arrow’s partners gain access to Equinix’s services, which combine data center colocation, private connections to public cloud providers, and a broad portfolio of interconnection services available at their International Business Exchange data centers worldwide. The agreement also allows these services to be offered, managed, and billed under a recurring monthly subscription model, supported by Arrow’s technical and commercial teams.
Mike Worby, Head of Strategic Alliances for EMEA at Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions division, emphasized that since the start of the collaboration, both companies have worked to help channel partners develop more robust digital infrastructure proposals focused on connectivity, cloud, and application performance. He also noted that receiving this award for the second year in a row reflects the joint progress made in equipping channel partners with the business models, technical expertise, and outreach capabilities necessary to meet evolving market demands.
Meanwhile, Stefan Diedericks, Vice President of the Partner Ecosystem for EMEA at Equinix, highlighted Arrow’s leadership and contribution to the company’s partner ecosystem. He explained that throughout 2025, the collaboration between both firms has strengthened thanks to close coordination across the EMEA region, enabling successful partner activation initiatives. Diedericks expressed confidence in continuing to expand this collaboration to generate an even greater impact in the coming years.
